Impulse response compression for vector characterization of highly dispersive devices
In this paper we report a means to compress the impulse response for dispersive devices, thus expanding the applicability of coherent interferometric measurement.
The technique of impulse response compression is described, which allows coherent interferometric Jones matrix measurements of highly dispersive devices. The compressed impulse response also indicates an appropriate step size for group delay measurements.
