Booth #1161

Luna will be presenting and exhibiting at the upcoming NACE CORROSION 2018 Conference (http://www.nacecorrosion.org/).  CORROSION 2018 is the world’s largest corrosion conference and exposition.  Each year, this conference welcomes more than 6,000 corrosion engineers, scientists, researchers, technicians, asset owners, inspectors, and other professionals from over 60 countries across the world.  This comprehensive conference is packed with technical education and knowledge exchange, along with opportunities to connect with industry experts and peers focused on the prevention and mitigation of corrosion worldwide.  Come join us in Phoenix, AZ at the Phoenix Convention Center August 16-19 to learn about Luna’s ongoing work in the war against corrosion.

This year at CORROSION, members of Luna’s Performance Systems and Analytics Group will be presenting papers related to corrosion monitoring technologies and techniques.   Fritz Friedersdorf, Brandi Clark, and Jeff Demo will each be presenting Luna’s work at the conference:

Fritz will present on how atmospheric corrosion measurements can improve our understanding of galvanic corrosion on aircraft.  This presentation is scheduled for 10:00 am on Monday, April 16 in the Understanding and Controlling Atmospheric Corrosion in Infrastructure Track.  The talk will be located in room 226 B-C.  Fritz will also present on Embedded Condition Monitoring System for Tank Coatings as part of the Marine Corrosion – Looking to the Horizon technology track.  This presentation will be held Monday April 16 at 11:10 am in room 131 A-B.

Brandi is presenting on the effects of mechanical stress and environmental conditions on aerospace coatings.  Her talk is scheduled for Monday, April 16 at 10:45 am and is also located in room 226 B-C.

Jeff’s presentation will be on corrosion management and asset tracking though improved airframe contaminant monitoring.  His talk is part of the Corrosion Management Systems and Economics Track and will be held at 11:10 am, April 17 in room 127 B-C.

In addition to these four presentations, Luna will also have an exhibit booth set up in the conference exhibit hall.  We’ll be located at booth #1161 in the conference center, and will have samples and demonstrations of our latest corrosion test, evaluation, and control technologies.
