Test Capabilities

The ability to accurately characterize and screen product, both in-process and at final assembly, is critical to meeting our customers' requirements. API's measurements are traceable to NIST and/or CRC, and whenever possible are correlated to customer selected standards. Following are a few of our capabilities.

• Detector response vs. wavelength from 200-1800nm
• Radiometric and photometric intensity
• LED spectral irradiance and luminosity from 400-1100nm
• Video measurement and mapping of emitting and active areas down to 1 m
• Shunt resistance, dark current, capacitance, forward voltage, risetime, noise, responsivity, linearity, quantum efficiency, uniformity, short circuit current, open circuit voltage, temperature testing
• Complete LED parameter testing
• Accurate sub pA dark current measurements
